Discovered this weekend…

…underneath the rapidly melting piles of snow in our back yard.

Multiple plastic bags of random origin.  Not sure why they congregate against my fence, but they seem to like it in our yard.

Fifty odd-shaped mud holes that both Li and Stella enjoy walking through at various parts of the day.

A rabbit-chewed nub of a Japanese maple.  I’m thinking it might be time to let that poor guy go- it’s been two years and he’s no bigger than when we bought him.

And three panels of aluminum siding that were torn off the house during the great January blizzard.

Have you found anything fun in your yard this spring?

Slop! Lots of mud with this thaw and rain! And small tree branches. Time for a tree trimming day, before the big limbs come tumbling down. The storms were rough this winter.
